9:00 AM - Pick-up & Transfer - Start the day from your hotel.

 

9:30 AM - Gangaramaya Temple. Colombo's most iconic and eclectic temple complex. See the beautiful architecture, museum, and collection of artifacts.

 

10:30 AM - Seema Malakaya. A tranquil floating temple designed by Geoffrey Bawa, located on Beira Lake. A peaceful spot for photos and reflection.

 

11:30 AM - Independence Memorial Hall. A national monument commemorating Sri Lanka's independence from British rule.

1:30 PM - Colombo Fort & Pettah Markets. A drive-through tour of the Fort area (colonial buildings, Old Parliament, lighthouse)

 

2:30 PM - Red Mosque (Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque) A quick photo stop to admire the striking red-and-white striped architecture of this historic landmark (exterior viewing recommended).

 

3:00 PM - National Museum of Colombo. Explore Sri Lanka's rich history and culture through ancient artifacts, royal regalia, and art.

 

4:00 PM - Galle Face Green. A leisurely walk along the seaside urban park. Enjoy the sea breeze and watch local life unfold (especially kite-flying and street food stalls).

 

☕ Late Afternoon - (4:30 PM - 5:00 PM)

Modernity and Drop-off

4:30 PM: Drive past the Lotus Tower (iconic telecommunication tower) and the new Port City development for a glimpse of modern Colombo.

 

5:00 PM: Drop-off back at your hotel or a central location (shopping area like One Galle Face Mall or a dinner spot).
