9:00 AM - Pick-up & Transfer - Start the day from your hotel.

 

9:30 AM - Drive to Balapitiya or Kosgoda (2 hrs drive from Colombo)

 

11:30 AM - Madu River Boat Safari. Explore this wetland estuary, passing through mangrove tunnels, visiting Cinnamon Island, and stopping at a small temple.

 

 

🍽️ Midday - (2:00 PM - 3:00 PM)

3:00 PM - Explore Galle Fort. UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is the main highlight. Wander the cobblestone streets, admire the Dutch colonial architecture, and visit key landmarks 

 

- Galle Lighthouse. The most iconic photo spot.

 

- Galle Fort Clock Tower. Located at the main entrance.

 

- Ramparts Walk. Walk along the walls for stunning ocean views.

 

- Dutch Reformed Church. Historic church dating back to the 18th century.

 

- Shopping. Explore the numerous boutique shops, antique stores, and art galleries on Pedlar Street.

 

☕ Late Afternoon - (5:00 PM - 9:00 PM):

Stilt Fishermen

 

5:00 PM - Stilt Fishermen (Koggala/Weligama)

 

6:00 PM - Return Journey to Colombo. (2.5 hrs drive)

 

9:00 PM - Arrival in Colombo. Drop-off at your hotel.
